Dear Parents/Guardians: Welcome to the 2024-25 school year. As we start the new school year together on Monday, August 19, 2024, the staff at Holland Elementary School looks forward to working with you and your child. Our Holland staff strongly believes that the education of children is a partnership between the home and the school, and that parent involvement is crucial to the success of our students. Please mark Thursday, August 15, 2024, for Holland Back to School Night from 5:30 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. where you will meet our staff and receive important information about the coming school year. The Holland Elementary office will extend their hours on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, for registration. The office will be open through 7:00 PM. Class lists will be posted Thursday, August 15, 2024, on the cafeteria and/or office windows. These lists will indicate your child’s teacher and room number. No room changes will be made prior to Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Please note that due to the possible enrollment changes we may need to create or collapse classrooms. There is a possibility that your child may be moved to a different class. We will contact you if this occurs. Our district will be implementing an early release schedule on Tuesdays of a five-day school week for teacher professional development. Please visit our district website for calendar details: https://www.fresnounified.org/calendars/ Regular School Day Daily Schedule: TK & Kindergarten 8:00 a.m. to 1:05 p.m. Grades 1st – 6 th 8:00 a.m. to 2:05 p.m. Early Release School Day Daily Schedule: TK & Kindergarten 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Grades 1st – 6 th 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Parent conferences will be held during the week of October 21 through October 25, 2024, and dismissal will be 65 minutes prior to our regular dismissal. We will follow our early release schedule. Breakfast is served from 7:40 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and our after school program is available daily until 6:00 p.m. Continue to check the transportation website for updates to bus routes: https://transportation.fresnounified.org/bus-routes/ The staff at Holland Elementary is committed to providing an education that will prepare your child to be a career-ready graduate and we look forward to working with you toward this goal.

Al comenzar juntos el nuevo año escolar el lunes 19 de agosto de 2024, el personal de la Escuela Primaria Holland espera trabajar con usted y su hijo/a. Nuestro personal de Holland cree firmemente que la educación de los niños es una asociación entre el hogar y la escuela y que la participación de los padres es crucial para el éxito de nuestros estudiantes. Por favor marque jueves, agosto 15, 2024 para Holland Noche de Regreso a Clases de 5:30 p.m. -7:00 p.m. donde conocerá a nuestro personal y recibirá información importante sobre el próximo año escolar.
